Those fools were all wrong.

It feels so damn good to simply exist in this body without hearing the constant criticisms and cruel comments made by so many of my exes. Their voices are becoming quieter and quieter every time I venture out in a bathing suit.

Those fools were all wrong. I suspect their verbal abuse felt familiar because of your 7th grade experiences, and they probably hid their abusive nature at the beginning.
