This is how I feel. I’m down so much with Black culture that even hearing it in music still makes my skin crawl. On the flip side, I respect the concept of those who are Black and started using it with the ‘a’ ending to “take the word back” from historical racism and reduce its power to do harm. Dick Gregory started that.
