This is a touching story. I'm glad you published it here. I was so lucky that when I decided at 40 that I HAD to have a child, I found someone and did. You're correct about the writing, though. I put it on hold for the years I was raising my son. BTW, I'll bet there's a young person whose life you're influencing as a father figure now. I hope so.
