…en’t doctors using scare tactics to pressure me into making decisions that don’t feel right for me. I might even schedule this scan at the clinic in the next town just to see if they approach things with a different vibe, or, perhaps, are so busy they’ll scoot me right in and then right out, not bothering to waste time scaring the childless lady to the point of tears.

This. Do this. My technicians and the doctor are warm and caring. Some of them laugh at my jokes. I’ve recently written about skipping a year because two years ago they told my I could skip a year at my age. This year they found a DCIS. Cancer but treatable and curable. As you know about me, my stories about it are humorous.
