The last paragraph was the best. (Read my post “Living In the Present Beats Living Anywhere Else”). I am a woman of a certain age (maybe 90?) who has appreciated every step. I did go crazy in my late thirties after losing a business and not having a child. But I went back to school, started a new career and had a baby. (Read my post “I Chose To Be a Single Mom at 41”). Aging as a woman in western culture requires resilience and determination to be who you are at every age, and, as you pointed out, to stay current. Embrace change and technology and opportunity. I’m thrilled to have lived long enough to participate in hand held computers (or as we call them, phones). I follow my son on YouTube (Moonlair360) and try not to be shocked. I listen to current music. As you state so clearly, what is important is actually living now, not getting stuck in any decade.
