The feminism you reference started long before the late 80s, and had many unacknowledged Black women involved. As the white mother of a Black son, I do not want Black men and their history torn down. I also know Misogynoir is society grown and a result of external and internalized racism. Still, as it harms Black women it must be deconstructed. Allison did this while still honoring the DMX’s talent and contributions.
