…iendly, didn’t go well, so we trust less. We can’t form healthy relationships because we fear hurt. Adults shut down or have angry outbursts because of stress. So how can we expect a human being who is a bundle of hormones and emotions to handle trauma when we, as full-grown adults, are struggling?
