So much to contemplate here Charles. I’ll touch on one. The “fact” that Black students trail behind in reading is why my son’s dyslexia was overlooked and undiagnosed until he was a sophomore in high school. And that finally happened because I threatened to sue the district. In their eyes he was a Black kid who made Bs and Cs. They thought that was all he could do.
