Several years ago an informal survey was done, asking women what they looked for in a man. Most of the answers were superficial. They were then asked what they brought to a relationship. Those answers were about character. I suspect this also would be true if men were surveyed. The journalist noted that if we applied the same criteria we bring to what we are looking for, we would be much more successful.
