Politicians didn’t anticipate consequences in certain arenas. But people of color, white men and 44% if white womenfolk didn’t anticipate the consequences of electing Trump. They also disregarded history and spit in the progress we have made in civil rights, social justice and women’s rights. The internalized worship of white people is worldwide, which explains some of the votes. America’s worship of “famous” and infamous people explains others.
