My therapist had us go home, get naked in front of a mirror and focus ONLY on the things we liked about our bodies. It was tough. First, I had to shift away from focusing on what I perceived as negative. But over the years, I have gotten quite good at it. I now ask my self-loathing clients to do it. You might want to give it a try and let me know how it goes. You may want to start by loving those strong, beautifully “thick” legs.
