My dad was a truck driver and taught me how to drive in snow and ice, even though he never lived anywhere else than Texas. We’d practice on the rare occasions we had two inches of snow. When I drove through a couple of blizzards in New Mexico I did fine, while pickup trucks and SUVs slid and flipped on their sides.
