Life Coaching is something I recently added to the services I offer. As a trained, licensed therapist, I seldom assign “homework,” partly because most people don’t follow through, but mainly because therapeutic change occurs in the interactions between the therapist and client, and the client and other people. There is something of an almost magical component. In Life coaching, I recommend or offer the building blocks for the client to reach their goals. There is accountability for follow through, and the joy of partnership in a journey. Both forms of service are valuable in their own way.
