I usually don’t weigh in on these types of disputes. However, I read Rui’s article and there’s a lot more to it than “write every day.” Self publishing, starting or editing a pub, having a backlog you can self publish from in the evening if a pub hasn’t published your submitted piece that day, discovering your optimal time for self publishing for best response, reading other’s work. All great advice for beginners and those, like me, who discovered some of this slowly and by digging for info. Ruiz is a good either and I appreciate this contribution.
