I totally relate to this!

I am extraordinarily lucky. Some possible different outcomes could have been: head injury resulting in Traumatic Brain Injury, a disaster for me as I make my living using my brain in my psychotherapy practice; face damage that I would have to explain to my clients, which is fine but complicated because then I become the focus instead of the client, and sometimes clients feel they have to “take care” of the therapist which is certainly not ideal for the treatment; my hands are OK (although one is black compared to the other), something that I’d been concerned about all my life because I’m also a p…

I totally relate to this! And I’ve hit my head twice in 3 years. We’re very lucky. Or we have hard heads.
