I see some of your commenters here missed that this was an email you received, not a comment on a thread. Somehow, thread comments are easier to ignore. Someone who takes the trouble to email us takes trolling to a whole other level, and hurts more. I love all your responses! I’ve written about trolls, but your piece is so much more moving.
