I just linked below another story which mentions more research. I also do state clearly that sexual orientation and gender identity are different things. I recommend anyone interested or impacted by these situations dive into the research. There is not enough of it, and we definitely need more longitudinal studies. I speak in these articles as. a therapist seeing adolescents who are searching, and I depend on their experiences as well as any research I can find.
