Great article. I remember when it was difficult for a woman, especially a young one, to get a credit card or car loan, even after the laws changed and the ERA passed in Texas. On the flip side, Eisenberg’s teenaged victims were referred to as young women, rather than girls, in an apparent effort to make his crimes seem less egregious.
