Dave, I did not agree that light scolding is child abuse. Humiliating the child is. I suggest you read my personal story of a young man who murdered another because it is too easy for those with mental illness to acquire guns. I assure you, his parents taught him not to express his anger in that way. However, his mother beat him, even chased him around school one day hitting him. Is there a correlation? Very possibly.
