Apple And Medium Have Partnered To Boss Me Around
But why tomorrow and not today?
This notice appeared suddenly in the top right corner of my computer. I was writing a screenplay at the time, not a Medium story. And I for sure didn’t program the notification, although it would have been a good idea. Apparently the computer somehow programmed itself to nudge me. So who told my Mac that I want and need to post every day on Medium? I’ve only made that pledge inside my head. So computers can read minds now??
Or maybe I did say it out loud. So computers are listening to us now? Well, Siri and Alexa, sure, but my Mac doesn’t have this feature. Or does it? Is the AI apocalypse here already?
I’m sure a good IT person could tell me how this happens. IT people, please feel free to comment with your theories. In the meantime, I choose to believe it’s a magical and mystical notification.
